Community Nursing Care

Our community nursing care program trains participants to manage their health in areas like medication, wound care, hygiene, and help with showering or dressing. A registered nurse or medical practitioner monitors the patient’s progress and adjusts the treatment and medication as needed.

Services Offered: Community Nursing Care is designed for participants with complex health needs that require medical training and experience. Our NDIS community nursing care is necessary for individuals with:

  • Very limited communication
  • Behaviour support needs
  • Medical needs or procedures such as ventilation or home enteral nutrition
Centre of Care Services is a registered NDIS provider for Community Nursing Care. We offer the following services:

  • Complex Bowel Care
  • Enteral Feeding and
  • Management (Nasogastric Tube – Jejunum or Duodenum)
  • Tracheostomy Management
  • Urinary Catheter Management (In-dwelling, In-out,
  • Suprapubic Catheter)
  • Subcutaneous Injections
  • Complex Wound Management
  • Day-to-day management of medications
